This experiment predicts if a customer will visit after an email marketing campaign from a retailer. The training data was taken from this link: http://www.minethatdata.com/Kevin_Hillstrom_MineThatData_E-MailAnalytics_DataMiningChallenge_2008.03.20.csv. It is an unbalanced training data set with number of negative classes (visit = 0) far more outweighing the positive class instances. To overcome this limitation, Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) was used.
